Documents Required for Visa on Arrival Thailand

Visa on Arrival Thailand can be acquired on the day of your arrival at all Thailand international airports and most land border crossings. Visa on Arrival Thailand is valid for 15 days and is a good choice if you're planning to visit Thailand for a couple of weeks. Passport

You must be a citizen of the countries eligible for Visa on Arrival Thailand. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days from the day of your arrival. 

Application Form

Photo

You need to attach one passport size photo to your Visa on Arrival Thailand application form. The photo should be not older than 6 months. Visa on Arrival Thailand photo size is 4 cm x 6 cm.

Visa Fee

Visa on Arrival Thailand fee currently is 2,000 THB. Visa fees must be paid in cash and only Thai Currency can be used for paying it. 

Ticket

As Visa on Arrival Thailand is valid only for 15 days, you need to submit a ticket for getting out of Thailand within the next 15 days. The day of arrival and the day of departure are included when counting the number of days.

Address in Thailand

You need to provide an address of hotel or apartment in Thailand. Lately hotel booking confirmation is also required and in some cases they even demand booking confirmations for every night of the stay.

Proof of Funds

Even if they rarely ask for the proof of funds when applying for Visa on Arrival Thailand, officially you need to prove that you have funds of at least 10,000 THB per person and 20,000 THB per family in any currency.

Arrival Card
