Soi Cowboy is only 150 m long narrow street which is worldwide famous Bangkok’s entertainment zone and one of three Thailand capital's Red Light Districts. Visiting this street during the daytime and nighttime is a completely different experience.

Soi Cowboy really comes alive at night and the atmosphere here is fun and relaxed. Let's check what is going on at Soi Cowboy during the daytime.

Soi Cowboy, Bangkok

As you can see, at the daytime it’s just a normal Thai street.

There will be few street food vendors showing up here. Most of them sell Isan food which is composed of sticky rice, som tam, grilled fish, and many other spicy dishes. We like the Rad Na (Thai Style Noodles in Gravy) shop here - they only make Rad Na noodle which is always good and reasonably priced.

This street can get crowded at the daytime too when working people from nearby offices come to have lunch here from 11.30 to 13.30.

We would recommend you to try Thai cold tea called cha-yen at this street shop. The price of the drink is from 15 to 25 THB.

Even if during the daytime Soi Cowboy seems quiet, it quickly transforms when the sun sets in Bangkok with plenty of bars opening and loud music playing every night.
